This tranquil oasis in the heart of Manhattan is one of the most idyllic locations in New York City. Whether sipping cocktails as our sea lions glide gracefully through the water or strolling through the lush gardens taking in the elegant architecture, you will be inspired by exotic wildlife and breathtaking city skyline views.
Situated by the sea in the famed Coney Island, Brooklyn, our spacious grounds can accommodate any type of event, and upwards of 2,000 guests. Greet our sea lions, sip cocktails with sharks, or have a picnic with amazing ocean views! With a wide variety of indoor and outdoor locations, our event staff can help customize your ideal setting for any celebration.
Guests can meander down the Discovery Trail and wander among dingoes and red pandas, or stroll over to the breathtaking rotunda to meet our mascots – a troop of Hamadryas baboons in a habitat designed to get you up close and personal.
Nestled in Flushing Meadows Park, our 11-acre zoo had its prestigious opening in 1968. Home to animals native to the Americas, you and your guests will feel transported to majestic areas, such as the Great Plains, the rocky California coast, or a northeastern forest.

Our five parks are conveniently located throughout NYC; all with access via public transportation. The Bronx Zoo houses over 2,000 parking spots, while the NY Aquarium in Coney Island has over 400!

Team Building
#MyNewAltitude - Take a break from rooftop hopping and hang out in the treetops. Swap your usual post-work workout for a lit up climb through the trees. Our brand new, sustainably-created ropes course is the best place for all of the above. We even have zip lines over the Bronx River. This is sure to be a Team Building Experience to remember!

Day in the Park
WCS’ Day in the Park is our most popular Experience! Guests can enjoy a full day in any of our parks with colleagues, their families, or both. With designated barbecue locations, your guests can get a private seating area to enjoy some quiet time, food, and drink. Want to jazz things up a bit? Book your day in the park, but then stay for a private exhibit viewing, dinner, dancing and even a bar! Maybe even dinner under the stars. Indoor rain plan locations available.
